Bars, bArS, BARS!!!
No I didn’t do a shuffle – I wish!
When I woke up yesterday morning I felt like CRAPOLA. And Zbars and cereal bars are pretty much the only thing I have been able to eat, slowly giving me little servings of protein.
So yesterday morning looked like this:

Then I RACED home with only an hour break to eat something because I felt sick and I was soo hungry and didn’t understand why. I made two of my mini whole grain bagels:

STILL HUNGRY and I continued to not feel well. WHY? OHH probably because I think I am an idiot.
I bought these delicious new Snapple drinks that I saw at Kroger, 3 for $5 and they looked so good I had to try them! I gave one to the FF for his drive home, and grabbed one to drink for the morning. I must have been pretty delerious to grab the one that clearly says METABOLISM on it. So no wonder I felt sick and my heart was racing. I was burning the few caloires I was barely able to take in. YIKES!
The drink was Noni Berry and it was soo good. No wonder I kept drinking! They are very light with plenty of flavor and although I had plently of energy for my classes, but I do not recommended it when you are feeling under the weather, haha:

We are all human, right?! Yup.
After class I came home and napped FOREVER, just in time for the NCAA Championship Game (WOO TAR HEELS!)
I felt a little crative, and decided to cook some chicken and make pasta as a side. I used the rest of my BBQ marinade, and let it sit while my best came over to visit me! She always asks me “whats on the blog today” and hung around for a bit while I manned the Foreman! Here is an action pic:

I used TONS of BBQ marinade and glad I did, because it came out PERFECT! I used some of my organic whole grain pasta to make my side, and added some EVOO (first time shout out to the EVOO!!), light butter, garlic and basil leaves!

For someone who doesn’t cook, I was proud! Even sent pics to the FF and the rest of the family! It was the perfect meal for me to cuddle up with on the couch and watch the game.
This morning I think I felt worse, and had NO desire to go to class. I tried to eat some YO and oatmeal, but I couldn’t stomach the whole thing:

I didn’t eat anything between that and about 7:00, and ate another Zbar, SHOCKER.

Finally I managed to eat some fruit for diner, and made myself a mini fruit salad with raspberries, oranges and apples. ALMOST forgot to take a picture because me and the dietician were eager to dig in!

All new Real Housewives!! What could be better when you are sick in bed because of this HORRENDOUS midwest weather?!

haha shout out to the housewives-i love it, so obsessed with that show but never get to watch it at school….definitely love the marathons when I’m home for breaks though!!
and yes, I did know that kombucha had a little alc in it….planning on taking it out with me next time I hit up the frats actually! hahaha

great bars though – I had the honey zbar today and it was fabulous!
