About

Cheers!

I am a 22 year-old college grad, in my first year at law school back in my hometown!

I started this blog to document my final months of my undergraduate college life, as apart of a school blogging project. I quickly went from blogging about social media (as a broadcast major) to embracing my roommate’s life as a dietician! I used her advice and insight to step back, evaluate my lifstyle, and began to embrace healthy eating.

In high school and my early college years I was never one to think twice about what I put in my stomach, and if it tasted good, I was ready and willing! Well, once the work piled on, so did the weight. I quickly needed a change.

Things became more steady once I lived in my sorority house, having set meals and times, and working out with a group of girls, but that wasn’t enough. Drinking several nights a week and eating late night never helped! I had always been an avid runner, because track was something I grew up doing, but I allowed it to fall to the way-side to my “social” acitivites.

Once senior year came that all changed and so did my attitude. I began to enjoy cooking, different exercise styles and having more energy overall!

Inspired by this uniquely shaped window in my apartment that you can see down the street, Martini Window is the image that I feel captures a lot of my personality and spirit (and not just because I am the one who decorated it!  ) I am going to miss being an undergrad, but I have had such a fantastic there that I wanted to share with everyone!

I have gone through SOO much in 4 years, between weight gain and loss, friends, boyfriends, and simply discovering and expanding on things that I like to do.

Enjoy!

Best Friends!
